Senator Joins Local Seniors for Conversation

NORTHBRIDGE – Senator Michael O. Moore (D-Millbury) recently sponsored an ice cream social at the Northbridge Senior Center. Despite the chilly temperatures and rainy weather, many local seniors stopped by to enjoy ice cream and conversation at the free annual event.

“I always enjoy sponsoring this event each year,” said Senator Moore. “It’s great to sit down with folks to get the scoop about what issues are most important to them. It’s also an opportunity to give back to residents who have spent a lifetime contributing to our community.”

Senator Moore also recognized Senior Center Director Kelly Bol who was celebrating her fifth year anniversary as the head of the Northbridge Senior Center.
