BOSTON - Senator Michael O. Moore (D-Millbury) and Representative Hannah E. Kane (R-Shrewsbury) announced that House Bill 3880, An Act authorizing the town of Shrewsbury to grant an additional liquor license, was signed into law by the Governor on March 16, 2016 as Chapter 56 of the Acts of 2016. The legislation was filed pursuant to a Special Town Meeting held on November 9, 2015.
“This legislation is yet another step forward in transforming the Route Nine corridor in Shrewsbury. Aside from expanding opportunities for local residents and consumers, this new commercial development will create hundreds of jobs within the construction, retail and restaurant industries.
