An Act improving protections relative to domestic violence

This legislation adds coercive control and technological abuse to the definition of “abuse” in Chapter 209A and extends the statute of limitations of Section 13A (assault or assault and battery) and 13M (assault or assault and battery on a family or household member) to 15 years to be in line with rape statutes.
