Summary
Existing statute mandates the teaching of certain computer skills, including keyboarding. This bill would add to that requirement that students be taught the fundamentals of cybersecurity. These standards shall be developed by DESE in conjunction with a state cybersecurity board that is created by related legislation filed by Senator Moore.
