Resource Fair
Description:
The Substance Abuse Awareness and Resource Fair will be a free event at Millbury High School to inform parents of the effects of addiction, warning signs of problem substance use, and resources available for treatment and recovery. Attendants are invited to explore resources for addiction and recovery during the first hour of the event before the keynote speaker’s presentation and the subsequent panel discussion. The event is open to the public.

Event Includes:

- Resource fair of recovery organizations, healthcare providers, advocacy agencies.
Keynote Speaker:
Chris Herren of The Herren Project will speak about the effects of addiction and the importance of recovery work amongst youth in adolescence. The mission of The Herren Project is to provide assistance in taking the first steps toward recovery and a life of sobriety, educational programs and resources to increase awareness on the signs of addiction and bring hope for a better tomorrow.
