Thomas M. Reilly
Memorial Scholarship

About Tom Reilly

Tom Reilly was an engaged member of the Millbury community and possessed a strong passion for writing, trivia and literature.  He was best known around town for his weekly column, "Just A Thought Or Two," in the Millbury-Sutton Chronicle where he shared his thoughts regarding local happenings and the political landscape.   Tom was also a beloved English teacher at Millbury Memorial High School for over 14 years where he supported students both in and outside of the classroom.  He will be remembered for his honesty, compassion and kindness to others.  Tom passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2017.

Committed to community - that’s how I would describe Tom Reilly. Tom will be sorely missed by all of his readers, students and the community at-large.
