By Katie Lannan of the State House News Service.  As lawmakers weigh proposals to make higher education more affordable for Massachusetts students, advocates on Tuesday hailed efforts to increase financial literacy and expand college savings programs.

Article by the Worcester Telegram & Gazette regarding a new bill being pushed by Sen. Moore and other Central Massachusetts lawmakers which proposes a slew of new guidelines governing how colleges handle sexual offenses on their campuses.

Sen. Moore announced that the Massachusetts Senate Special Committee on Opioid Addiction Prevention, Treatment and Recovery Options released its latest report on addressing the substance abuse crisis in the Commonwealth.

Senator Moore recently sat down at a local coffee shop to meet with Amanda Laflamme of Grafton and her two-year-old daughter, Sadie, who was diagnosed with a cyclin-dependent kinase-like 5 or “CDKL5” disorder.

Senator Moore announced today that the 75th Citizens' Legislative Seminar (CLS) will be held this fall on Tuesday, October 20th and Wednesday, October 21st from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the State House.
