Vote at the Polls

On Tuesday, November 6, 2018, polls will be open across Massachusetts from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Take a moment out of your day - before or after work, school or other obligations - to stop by your local polling location. While voting at the polls is the traditional method of voting, it is certainly not the only way to cast your ballot! Not sure where to vote in your community? Click below to find out!

Vote Early

Early voting is available beginning Monday, October 22, 2018 until Friday, November 2, 2018. What is early voting you ask? It’s the ability to cast your ballot before Election Day. All registered Massachusetts voters are eligible to vote early. You can do so in person at any early voting location in your community, or by mail. This voting option is particularly useful if you know that you’re unavailable to visit the polls on Election Day.

Vote Absentee

According to the Secretary of State’s website, “voters may cast absentee ballots if they will be absent from their municipality on Election Day, or if they have a disability or religious belief which prevents them from voting at their polling place.” If you’re out of town attending college or temporarily away from home, this may be a viable voting option for you.
